Clinical Review Policy

Last reviewed: February 24, 2026

Roxee educational content is reviewed with a safety-first lens. Clinical review supports triage clarity and routing confidence, but does not replace diagnosis or treatment advice from a licensed veterinarian.

Review workflow

  • Medical references are checked against source guidance.
  • Urgency language is calibrated for clear next steps.
  • Content updates are revision-tracked and re-reviewed after material changes.

What clinical review means

  • Clinical review checks owner-facing guidance for safety, clarity, and escalation language.
  • Reviewed content must still avoid diagnosis, treatment instructions, or medication direction for an individual pet.
  • Emergency and red-flag language is written to help owners decide when to contact a veterinarian or ER clinic.

Publication requirements

  • Indexable clinical pages need visible reviewer/source metadata and a current review date.
  • Placeholder reviewer names, missing licenses, stale dates, and source-pending pages remain out of indexable surfaces.
  • Material content changes require another review pass before the page is promoted.

Advisory board status is tracked separately on the Advisory Board page.
