About 182227 Cinnamon

CINNAMON - 3 years old, 55 pounds, house trained, playful, nervous, needs time warming up to new people, avoids other dogs

Cinnamon arrived at VBACAC number 1, through no fault of her own and number 2, a scared pup. She is slowly coming out of her shell but it will take time for her to get used to a new family, home and routine.

She is gorgeous with her soft brown fur and captivating eyes. When she 'smiles' and her ears flop over, she will surely capture your heart!

Cinnamon is house trained but may have an accident if left inside too long or if she's ignored when she whines to go out.

Cinnamon has lived with another dog which she was fine with but it takes her time getting used to new dogs.

We tried her in our shelter playgroup where she mostly avoided the other dogs in the playgroup yard. She eventually settled a bit and started walking around the yard sniffing here and there, but always trotting back to the gate in a hurry.

When it comes to people, it's the same. It takes her time getting used to people. Slow, proper introductions will be necessary with new people. Please remember your friends and family are strangers to her.

Cinnamon's loyalty will be worth the wait!

Once done, she will enjoy sleeping in bed with you or close to you on the floor.

She is afraid of loud noises including thunder and fireworks.

If you are willing to give her that time and space and allow her to learn to trust you, come on out to meet her! She is currently in a back kennel so if you don't see her, please just ask.
