Adam Maitland Beetlejuice – 4-Year-Old Neutered Male Terrier Mix – 15 lbs

Meet Adam Maitland Beetlejuice, a resilient 4-year-old terrier mix weighing 15 lbs with a heart as big as his name. Adam's story is one of strength and perseverance. In December, he was likely struck by a car, suffering a broken back. He arrived at the Stockton Animal Shelter scared and shut down, but thanks to a plea from the shelter, Umbrella of Hope stepped in to give him the care and time he needed to recover.

While his injury left him fecal incontinent, Adam doesn't let it slow him down. He joyfully zips up and down stairs, following his humans wherever they go. Indoors, he wears a diaper to manage his incontinence, but otherwise he's a healthy, happy, and active pup.

When he first arrived, Adam was shy and unsure, but in his foster home he has blossomed into a loving, affectionate companion. He may be reserved at first with new people, but he quickly warms up, gently nudging his head for pets and attention. Once he trusts you, his playful spirit and devotion shine through.

Adam is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite-free. He's looking for a patient, understanding adopter who will embrace his special needs and provide the safe, loving home he deserves. In return, he will give you endless affection and loyalty.
