Meet Aiden! Hi... I'm Aiden, and I'm working on being brave.

I'm a handsome black and white boy, and I'll be honest with you right from the start: I'm shy. Like, REALLY shy. More shy than my friend Ethan, and he's already pretty cautious! When we first meet, I'm probably going to be hiding. Or watching you from a distance. Or maybe peeking out from behind something, trying to decide if you're safe.

But here's what helps me feel safe: my CAT TREE. Oh, I LOVE my cat tree! Up high, I can see everything. I can watch you without being too close. I can observe and learn and slowly start to understand that maybe, just maybe, you're not so scary after all. A good cat tree isn't just furniture to me - it's my confidence builder, my safe space, my observation deck.

You know what else helps? FOOD. When the food bowl comes out, suddenly my shyness takes a back seat. Food means good things. Food means someone cares. Food means... okay, I'm coming a little closer now because that smells REALLY good.

I have a best friend named Ethan, and he's braver than me. When I see him trust you, it helps ME trust you too. We'd love to be adopted together if possible - he gives me courage, and I give him someone to nap with. But I understand if you can only take one of us. I just... I really need you to know that I'm going to need MORE time than most cats. More patience. More understanding.

I'm looking for a quiet home with someone who won't rush me. Someone who'll give me a tall cat tree to feel safe on. Someone who understands that shy cats aren't broken - we just need the right person to help us bloom.
