About Albert Worth

Meet Albert! Albert is a 20-month-old little guy with a big personality. He lost one eye early in life, but that hasn't slowed him down one bit. He's playful with his person, adores his walks, and absolutely lives for tummy rubs—if you stop too soon, he'll gently reach out with his paw to ask for more! Albert has had some early liver issues, which are now well managed with a special diet that he'll need to stay on for life. He's also working on an "attitude adjustment"—sometimes he can be a little spicy with other dogs or when asked to do something he's not thrilled about. He's already making progress with the help of anxiety medication and responds well to verbal correction. Because of this, Albert would do best in an adult-only home where he can be the star of the show. He rides beautifully in the car, sleeps quietly at night on his pallet in the bedroom, and has impeccable potty manners. With daily walks to help trim his waistline and keep his mind happy, Albert will be a loyal, loving companion for the right person. Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting tzrinquiries@tzuzoorescue.com. [NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
