ANTWAN is a 3 year old, 20 pound Shih Tzu male who has a brother in SONIC, a 3 year old, 15 pound Pekingese. They were owner surrendered by a lady who started a 2-legged human family and could not give these guys the time and love they deserve. They certainly deserve a 2nd home that can offer them love.

ANTWAN is more independent than SONIC, ANTWAN is the leader. But he is still a super sweet and mellow guy, he is bonded with SONIC. As I am writing this, ANTWAN actually jumped the puppy gate and upstairs with me and SONIC is downstairs barking for him to come back. Neither of them are barkers, both are very quiet. I am not sure I can separate them and I am evaluating them while they are in my home. They do play with other dogs but they stick by each other. ANTWAN is the more outgoing independent one while SONIC is more of a cuddle bug baby.
ANTWAN will need to be groomed regularly to prevent matting that hurts them. He came to me extremely overgrown with mats and he was such a great boy at allowing me to shave him down. I will get more pictures of him once I have completed his grooming but please overlook my handy work, I am no groomer.
Both of them crave attention and love and they are very well-mannered. They walk well on a leash and ride in the car without getting sick. For the time being I would love for them to go to the same home together as the owner told me they have been together all of their lives.

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED
Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.
We transport across the United States.
Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
