About Appa and Toph

Meet Appa and Toph! This adorable bonded pair of 5-year-old siblings — Appa (male, gray and white) and Toph (female, tan) — are looking for a loving home together. These two are the best of friends who love lounging in the sun, chasing squirrels, playing with toys, going on long walks, and soaking up belly rubs. Appa and Toph sleep peacefully together all night in their crate and have excellent potty manners. They're working on their leash skills — they can get excited and pull a bit — but they're eager to please and learning quickly. They do bark some when left alone, so a house (rather than an apartment) would be best. Since they can take a little time to adjust, they'd thrive in a calm home without young children. If you're looking for a pair of loyal companions who already adore each other, Appa and Toph might be the perfect duo for you. Please apply at tzuzoorescue.com if you are interested in adopting from Tzu Zoo Rescue. More information available by contacting tzrinquiries@tzuzoorescue.com. [NOTE: We are a rescue NOT a shelter, meaning WE DO NOT HAVE A FACILITY THAT OPENS TO THE PUBLIC. Typically, an application and home visit (both of which are required for adoption) MUST be completed, BEFORE a potential adopter will be introduced to one of our pets, in order to first determine that our basic adoption requirements are met, prior to introductions being made. We also utilize personal reference and vet checks (to ensure that any pets already in the potential adoptive home are current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and sterilized) in our adoption process, all of which is intended to ensure that the best match, between pet and people, is made. The adoption fee is based on on the dog's age.
