About Auger

Meet Auger! Auger is a sweet, 2-year-old beauty with a mostly white coat and adorable brown tabby patches. Originally rescued as a bottle-fed kitten, Auger found a loving home early in life—but due to her adopter's health issues, she was recently returned through no fault of her own. Now, she's back in rescue and looking for a home. This girl has a lot of personality! Auger isn't shy about letting you know when she wants attention—she can be quite vocal when the mood strikes, especially around mealtimes (which she definitely looks forward to!). She was the only cat in her previous home, so while she came into rescue with her littermates, she's a bit unsure around other cats. She may hiss at first, so slow introductions are a must. Auger hasn't officially met the two small dogs in her current foster home, but she's aware of them through scent and sound and hasn't shown signs of fear or distress. Her experience with kids is unknown. She's a fan of a clean litter box (who isn't?) and is comfortable using an automatic one—bonus points for low maintenance! Auger is ready to write her next chapter with a patient, loving adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to adjust. Could that be you? Auger is from an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
