Hi there! My name is Avery, and I'm a sweet, friendly 1-year-old Female Pit Bull Terrier looking for a family to call my own.

My foster parents say I'm an absolute gem! I'm completely kid-friendly and get along great with other dogs. I'm past my puppy-crazies and am well-mannered on the leash, making me an excellent partner for adventures—whether it's a walk in the park or a fun hike.

A few things you should know about me:

Food is my love language! I am extremely food motivated, which means I'm super easy to train and a quick learner. Got a treat? You've got my attention.

I'm not a morning person. My idea of a perfect wake-up call is a slow stretch and a snuggle (after breakfast, of course!).

I'm a champion cuddler! At the end of the day, there's nothing I love more than snuggling right up in bed with my people.

My past is, well, my past—and I'm not looking back. All that matters is that my heart is open, and I'm ready to pour all my love into my new family.
