Okay, this little boy came with his name AVIS as an owner surrender!!! But he does not respond to the name at all. Even when he laying on my side relaxing does he respond to his name. He loves to lay with you and cuddle but he is very obedient when you put him down because you need some room for yourself.
AVIS is a 3 1/2 year old, 15 pound Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu. The owner swore him as a Shih Tzu but he vet determined that he is mixed with Lhasa Apso. Truth is he is just a mixture of beauty!! And his temperament is sooooo sweet. He was a bit shy when I first got him and he needed a few days to adjust before he became comfortable enough to run around with the other foster dogs. He doesn't bother them and they do not bother him although he seems to enjoy watching them play. He came from a home with a 12 year old dog.
AVIS was owner surrendered because of some major lifestyle changes and she could no longer care for him. In the past few months he has been living in several different environments. I bet he would just like to be normal and stable in a loving home. AVIS only had the 1 owner since he was a baby.
He walks great on a leash, no pulling and he walks at your pace. AVIS is a very easy going guy. He for sure needs to be groomed but if I groom him it will be more of a hack job!!

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED
Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.
We transport across the United States.
Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
