About Bagel
Meet Bagel, the 8-month-old, 32-pound, pocket-sized lovebug with a mix of Chi/Dox/Pit/Lab in his genes. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, his heart of gold is worth the wait. Once he's warmed up, you'll be his person, and his loyalty knows no bounds. This fun-loving, active pup thrives on adventure and is eager to please. He would do best in a home with another confident dog who can help him learn the ropes and a secure yard for safe play. Bagel dreams of a family that will be patient with him and then take him on hikes, to the park, or for a good game of fetch. Ready to earn your way into Bagel's circle of trust?
Socializing a shy dog like Bagel is a process that requires patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement to build trust and confidence. Since Bagel is a sensitive pup, forcing interactions will only increase his anxiety and can damage your bond.
