About Banzai

Banzai, affectionately known as "Buddy" is believed to be a Pomeranian and Cairn Terrier mix. He's an adult dog, exact age unknown, as he was found running stray. Buddy is potty trained, walks well on leash, and sleeps in his crate. He is a true velcro, usually found in his foster mom's shadow. He is spry, likes to run and play outside and does puzzles and plays with his kong too. He guards his food from other dogs, so he needs to be fed separately from other pets or to be an only. He gets protective of his fav person, so adopters will need to understand that and work with him to be comfortable with others. He is great with house guests and warms up quickly with treats!

The groomer says he is always well-behaved and we know he enjoys being brushed. He will jump in the car anytime you open the door and quickly settles in for the ride. He's the perfect companion, always up for a walk or to snuggle up near you for a snooze on the couch. He loves to be near his people!

Banzai would probably be happiest in a home with no or older kids that will give him space when he needs it. He barks when people come to the door, and rarely barks otherwise now that he knows the all the sounds in his foster home. Banzi is available through One Dog At A Time.
