About Bella

Bella is a beautiful girl who was turned in to rescue when the family moved away and decided not to take her with them. She is such a sweet girl and has adjusted very well in her foster home. She loves, loves, loves to play with the other dogs. Training was probably not top on the list for her prior family, so she is ready for a family who can work with her on her manners, especially the jumping. She probably still thinks of herself as that cute little cuddly puppy, not the big cute cuddly puppy she has grown into. She is ready for an active family who can include her in their lives, be that at home or out and about. She is very social and loves people. With her energy and her love to play canine style, a home with another dog would really benefit her. Puppies are a life-long commitment. They need time, training, vet care and healthy feeding to become good canine citizens. Don't even think of adopting a puppy unless you intend to invest the time and money and commitment required, and you can expect to lose a few good shoes along the way!

If you are interested in me, please contact us at info@coastalk9gsr.org or call (858) 779-9149. Don't forget to fill out our online application. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is 100% tax deductible.

Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.

Our adoption process begins with completing an application on-line. A phone screening will soon follow, and lastly a home visit will be conducted by our volunteers.
