This kind and happy girl is BIRDIE. We are not exactly sure what she is but some sort of terrier mix. She is 1 1/2 years old and 18 pounds which makes her medium-smallish and still easy to handle. Her pictures really do not do her justice, she looks wild in these pictures but that is hardly the case. She has a soft wire-haired coat that will need to be groomed about every 4-5 months as it is slow growing.
BIRDIE was owner surrendered because her family could no longer care for her. She lived in an apartment so she is used to waiting until time to go out to potty. She knows when you grab the leash that it is her time to shine, she can go for a walk and potty. She is also totally crate trained and when I announce that I have to run an errand she puts herself in her crate.
There are other dogs in the foster home and she gets along very well with everyone including spending time outside playing and enjoying the sun if only for a few minutes. I do not have a doggy door so she waits until I say the word "potty" to know that it is time to go out.
BIRDIE's personality is kind and happy and very sweet, well mannered and easy to get along with, a non-barker as a plus.

ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED
Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes. Each dog comes spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice. The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption. They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE.
We transport across the United States.
Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.
