About Blossom in RI

Age: approx 3 years old
Weight: 26 lbs
My adoption fee is $ 575 which includes transportation charges to the Northeast.

Check out this Awesome Blossom! Blossom is now in foster in Rhode Island and all set for adoption! And she has come a long way to get here. This 3 year old, 26 pound Dachshund mix wandered up heavily pregnant to a home in Texas but the homeowners did not allow dogs indoors and refused her care. A wonderful volunteer with our Texas partner stepped up for Blossom and two days later she had five gorgeous puppies, who were eventually weaned and adopted. When it was time for Blossom to be spayed, she was found to be heartworm positive, so needed to undergo treatment. Now she is SITTING ON GO, spayed, treated and ready for a bright future. This lady has a stunning and unique black/brown coat that changes color according to the light! Her Texas rescuers call her one of the sweetest dogs they have ever met. She enjoys meeting people, gets along with other dogs, and has done well with cats. Blossom is crate trained and appears to have her house training established

Blossom is a gentle, calm girl and would be a wonderful companion for most anyone.
