About Bobby
Hello there! My name is Bobby, and I'm a handsome 5-year-old Domestic Shorthair weighing about 15 lbs. I was surrendered to the shelter because I didn't get along with the other cats in my previous home—but that just means I'm ready to be someone's one-and-only! I'm a friendly, affectionate boy who's looking for a calm, loving home to call my own. I do best as the only pet, where I can soak up all the attention (and treats!) for myself. I'm litter box trained and currently eat dry adult cat food. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on my yearly vaccines, and my adoption fee is just $30. I tested FeLV negative, but I did test FIV positive. Don't let that scare you—FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is a cat-specific autoimmune condition, and with proper care and an indoor lifestyle, cats like me can live long, healthy, happy lives. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your love tenfold, I'd love to meet you!

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
