NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION
NEW INTAKE 11/21/2025: Brighton - female - DOB 9/12/2021 - 25.8 pounds - Boston Terrier
Reason for intake: Brighton came to us from the Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter. She is the sweetest girl. She was an owner surrender to OPAS but we don't know why. The shelter was told she was good with other animals and lived with kids. Anyway, she's in good hands now and the sweetest Boston! She is heading to our vet the week of 11/24/2025. With the holidays coming up, it may be after Thanksgiving before we post her for adoption. Stay tuned!
NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS: Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed. Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining. In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason. We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption. In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered. Please note… we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption. Please wait until the dog is available for adoption. We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link: https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Be responsible ~ Always spay/neuter, keep your dogs on heartworm prevention, vaccinate against disease... and if you bring a pet into your life, commit to that pet for life. Blessings.
