Hi! My name is Candy because I look just like a chocolate bar! I'm a healthy, feisty miniature wirehaired dachshund that loves to tumble around with my foster sister and brother. I get the zoomies every night… and several times during the day. I can be a little shy at first but I warm up eventually. I like to be cuddled, but at first I'll dart away if you try to pick me up. Once I trust you, it's all good. Now I climb up the ramp to "my" couch and sneak onto my person's lap. I love a little cuddle time in the morning and evening.



I don't respond to my name or the come command yet. I'm learning about house training, but I'm pretty good with piddle pads.



I love to run in the yard and I'm getting better with walks, but I'm not very fond of harnesses or leashes. I'm getting better, but I like to run and pull, once I concede to wearing my harness. I'm little, so it's hard to find a harness that fits well. I've gotten used to wearing a collar! Now if my foster sister would stop chewing on it!



I would love for you to give me a furever home! I'd love you for it! I might even kiss your
face!I am a local adoption only until I am spay at 5 1/2-6 months of age.
I do require a fenced yard to keep me safe as I do not walk on a harness and leash and I do not know any recall.
I am full of energy and love to run chase and play.
I do not understand the dangers of cars and roads.
I am 4 months old, my adoption fee is $600 plus sales tax $27= $627



My adoption fee helps cover all of my vetting needs such as HW test, rabies, 3 DHPPL, Bordetella, neuter, dental if needed and microchipping.
