Hi… I'm Cappy, and I'm not the kind of dog who runs straight up to strangers with full-body wiggles. I like to take my time, sniff the air, watch from a safe spot, make sure you're the kind of human who understands personal space. New people can be a lot, you know? But don't worry. Once I decide you're okay... and you usually are it's like a little door opens inside me. My tail loosens up, my ears perk, and suddenly I'm inching closer, just checking if maybe you have a treat for me. I won't lie: treats are the fastest way to my heart. Crunchy, chewy, tiny, big!! I'm not picky. If you offer one gently, I'll take it with the softest little nibble. And once I trust you? Oh, I'm all yours. I'm a full-on lap dog, no shame about it. If you sit down, I'll quietly hop up, curl into a warm little ball, and let out that deep sigh that means "Yes, this is exactly where I belong." I love feeling safe and close, tucked against you while you pet my scruffy fur. So yeah… I might be shy at first, but give me time, patience, and maybe a treat or two, and you'll have a loyal lap buddy who loves you with his whole little schnauzer heart.
