Chestnut is a young, tan-and-white Lab/Shepherd mix with the sweetest spirit and a heart ready to love. With her cute floppy ears, bright eyes, and playful energy, she lights up every space she enters!
-1-year-old spayed female
-Basenji mix, tan coat with a white stripe down her nose
-62 lbs: tall, graceful, and full of life
-Arrived at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 10/6/25 as a stray
-Once a devoted momma, now ready for a home of her own
-Friendly with other dogs; enjoys playtime and socializing
-Easy to collar and handle, knows basic manners
-Good on leash, though strong and curious
-High energy and loves to explore the yard
-Playful with dogs, especially those who are calm and confident
-Best suited for an active home with gentle structure and guidance
Chestnut greets each day with a wagging tail and sparkling eyes, ready to make new friends and share her loyal heart. This beautiful girl deserves a family who will cherish her forever.
