About DAN
Dan came to us injured after being hit by a car! He had severe injuries to his back legs. His right one had a complicated tib/fib fracture and ended up needing to be amputated. His left leg had a deep wound with bone exposed, but thanks to time, treatment, and Dan's incredible resilience and happy spirit, he's healed up well!
Today, Dan is thriving. Losing a leg sure hasn't slowed him down at all. He's a happy go lucky boy with a puppy's playful spirit. He's great on a leash, loves attention, and greets everyone with his signature full body wag. He's a certified wiggle butt!
Dan is all joy in our play yards. He enjoys running, exploring, and amusing himself with sniffing adventures. He's energetic, playful, and still has plenty of puppy spirit left in him. When you're petting him he sits as calmly and closely to you as possible, and happily settles in for your love.
