About Dany
Meet Dany – the Sweet, Loyal Little Companion Looking for Her Forever Home! (This dog is not at the shelter. She is being rehomed by her current owner.)
Dany is a 7-year-old female Maltipoo with a soft, curly coat of black fur with white spots and an affectionate, sensitive nature. She has been loved and well-cared for her entire life, and her family is heartbroken to rehome her. Due to a recent move and preparing for a second child, they simply can't give Dany the time and attention she deserves.
Dany is a sweet and friendly girl, especially around children, and she has lived successfully with other dogs. She warms up well to visitors after initially barking to announce new people—she just needs a moment to get comfortable.

Dany does have some typical small-dog behaviors, including resource guarding high-value treats, food, or toys. She has never bitten, but she may growl or show her teeth if approached when she has something special. With proper management and respect for her boundaries, she does very well.
In her new home, Dany would thrive with someone who understands her cues, provides structure, and gives her the love and attention she's used to. She's a loyal little dog who bonds deeply with her people.

All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
