Meet Dashing Duke ! Duke is a beautiful male Doberman and a true gentleman. He's a mature boy who's handling the noisy, busy shelter environment as best he can - a little nervous at times, but he is always calm and composed laying on his cot, looking incredibly handsome as he waits for his forever home.Once he's with people, Duke's gentle and affectionate side shines. He's an easy, well-mannered dog who's comfortable with everyone he meets. He absolutely loves to play fetch (and even shows off some soccer skills). Duke is a gentle treat taker and has a gentle soul. He enjoys ear scratches - and his cute ears have a personality of their own ! He'd love a home where he can go on relaxed walks, play a little fetch, and lounge in the living room by your side. It's no surprise he's a shelter favorite - Duke is the perfect blend of calm, playful, and loving, just waiting for the right person to give him the quiet, caring home he deserves.

Duke has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. He's also sharing his shelter suite with a friend he met at the shelter. To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
