ETHEL is a mastiff who endured a difficult childhood marked by neglect. Upon meeting her, one can notice traces of distrust and sadness in her eyes. However, after a few minutes of interaction, once she recognizes your intention to offer your love, she reveals her noble nature, expressing affection generously. She is somewhat insecure in unfamiliar environments but is remarkably well-behaved, thanks to her gentle and calm temperament. Tranquility defines her, and she enjoys both eating and receiving petting, with a particular fondness for sunbathing during naps. As a typical mastiff, she possesses a guarding instinct, which may cause her to react to new dogs or passersby when she is home, outdoors she doesn't care. Nonetheless, she gets along well with both dogs and humans. Her preference is for peaceful surroundings, and her behavior reflects her desire for calmness and stability. A housebroken and well-behaved dog is an excellent companion. If you require a dog that can comfortably spend long hours relaxing, Ethel is a suitable choice.
