About FINN

My first pet of the day is adorable Finn!

Finn is a handsome brown and tan male 50% Bloodhound mixed with German Shepherd/Doberman/Belgian Malinois. He loves people and is friendly and sweet. He has a playful side too!
He is well-mannered, great on leash and on walks. He is such a nice dog! Great with kids and cats as well!

Finn is a mixed breed male with a handsome blend of Bloodhound, Doberman, German Shepherd, and Belgian Malinois. His striking appearance and friendly nature together make him a wonderful canine companion. Finn is a friendly fellow who adores long walks, during which he strolls calmly on a leash. Finn is timid when exploring new areas at first, but follows the lead of his walker well in a trusting way. Overall, Finn is an ideal partner for outdoor activities. Finn loves spending time outside in the yard also, particularly with his doggy friends. He is especially friendly with female dogs and generally respectful of social cues when interacting with other dogs. Finn is gentle and laid-back when indoors and is content to laying on the couch with you and watching tv or sleeping peacefully through the night next to you. Finn is housebroken. He is working on crate training and managing chewing behaviors, but listens well when redirected. Finn has a friendly personality, calm temperament, and is eager to learn, all qualities which make him a wonderful dog for anyone looking to add a new member to their family!`

Come meet Finn at the shelter at 6435 Capitol Ave., Diamond Springs. Adoption days/hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am to 12pm and 1-4pm. For more information you can call the shelter at 530-621-5795.
