Hi friends! I'm Gala, and I come with bonus toes! That's right - I'm a fancy Hemingway cat, which basically means I'm genetically blessed with extra toe beans. More to love, right?

Now, I'll be honest with you because that's the kind of cat I am - I'm what you might call a "cautious connoisseur" of human attention. Think of me as the feline version of Jane Austen's Mr. Darcy - it's not that I don't like you, I'm just very... selective about my social interactions!

My current favorite activity is hand-dining (very posh, I know). That's when I'm feeling brave enough to let you scratch my chin - it's my version of a trust fall! And while I may not be ready for casual pets yet, I've discovered something amazing: being wrapped up like a purrito (that's a cat burrito) actually feels pretty wonderful. Sure, I might get a bit nervous during the wrapping process (and yes, sometimes my nerves get the better of my digestion, if you know what I mean ?), but once I'm snuggled in? Pure purrs!

I'm making progress every day, and my recovery time from scary moments is getting shorter and shorter. Think of me as a work in progress - like a shy butterfly slowly emerging from her chrysalis, just with extra toes and better whiskers.
