About Harry DD
Poor Harry was found straying to survive the streets of Louisville. Luckly the door he knocked on took him in and reached out to Russell Reacue Tn for help.
Harry was starving, full of fleas and dirty. The person who found him cleaned him up and brought him to a ASAP
after being completely checked out by our vet he has been sitting in Boarding waiting for that special Somone
Harry is a Shorty Russell Terrier (Puddin).
Understandably he guard his food maybe thinking he may not get any more. Cautious of other dogs which also could be because his street life was We are sure dangerous and life threatening.
Harry deserves his chance with someone who will help him feel safe and secure. Forget the terrible life he had and start a new loving life.
Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.
Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else.
We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters.

We are 100% volunteer powered. Volunteers process the applications and need time above their personal needs and full-time jobs to process the apps.

Our adoption fee is $300 which includes spay/neuter, DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies, HW check, and microchip.
Russell Rescue dogs are fostered in the Middle Tennessee area. We do not ship/transport our dogs, so the approved adopter must be willing to travel to Tennessee. Russell Rescue will try to first place our rescue dogs locally or in surrounding states.
Russell Rescue is not open to the public for visiting hours. We do not have a physical location of our own.
