About Harry - Handsome Boy!
Harry is a big love who's looking for his forever home. He's currently in a NJ foster home.
Harry is a friendly and sweet boy who thinks he's a lap dog! This handsome guy loves to cuddle and could lay by your side for hours. Harry LOVES kids and also loves running around the yard with the other dog in his foster home. He enjoys going for walks and he's working on not pulling when on leash.
Harry is very friendly outside of the home, but requires a proper introduction with people coming into the house. We've learned that Harry is more comfortable with women than men. Harry would do best with an experienced dog owner. His ideal home would have another playful canine companion of similar size, lots of stimulation and a house full of bones helps to keep him occupied.
Harry is house trained, crate trained and responds well to treats. He did well on his cat test and did not seem overly interested in or aggressive to the cat. His DNA test shows: 45% American Pit Bull Terrier, 31% American Staffordshire Terrier, 10% Great Pyrenees, 9% German Shepherd Dog and 2% Boxer … 100% AWESOME!
Harry is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
