Welcome Hoda to DASH. This sweet and loveable Pug/Chi mix came to DASH with several other small dogs when his owner went into a nursing home and family could not care for them. He is a very affectionate boy, who just wants to be wherever his person is. He is currently in our DASH prison program, where he is doing very well. He loves being in your lap or sleeping with you getting all the pets. He enjoys his daily walks and will play with his toys when he feels like it. He does not really enjoy being crated and will whine when he is put in one, but has not shown any tendencies to destroy stuff if left out. He will need to be walked on a leash or watched while in a fenced area as he will try to escape under the fence. He is said to be housebroken in the prison setting as well. He likes all dogs his size, but can be a little intimidated by larger dogs. He has not been kid tested. Hoda might do best with a person or family who is home quite a bit or who are ready to take him with them on new adventures. He is just so ready to find his forever family or person who are ready to give him all the love, pets and kisses he wants.
