✨ Husk Is Ready for His Glow-Up! ✨
Husk has been with us since January, and this 5-year-old German Shepherd/Chow Chow mix is finally ready to take the next step on his journey — into a foster, or even better, a forever home. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and has finished his heartworm treatment, so he's all set for a fresh start.
When Husk first arrived, he was a quiet, unsure guy who preferred keeping to himself. Fast forward to today, and you'd hardly recognize him! He now explores the house with confidence, happily hangs with the other dogs, and even greets us in the kitchen after his bath looking for treats (his favorite thing in the world). Snacks are his love language, and they've helped him blossom into a calmer, more affectionate companion.
Husk is dog-friendly and feels more at ease with canine buddies, so another pup in the home would be a huge plus. He's still a work in progress with potty training and the leash, but with patience, consistency, and kindness, he's proven he can learn and adapt. Every milestone — from relaxing on the couch to enjoying a good brushing — shows just how far he's come.
