For the past six years, she's been more than a pet, she's been a steady companion, a hiking partner, a sunset-watching sidekick, and a quiet comfort during hard days. She's snuggled through tears, celebrated joyful moments, and made solo walks feel like shared adventures. Kennedy doesn't just live in your home--she lives in your heart.
Kennedy's ideal home is peaceful and loving. She's not a fan of chaos or high-energy dogs, and she's grown less tolerant of small or bouncy pups. She'd thrive as your one-and-only or with other big dogs who respect her space and vibe. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet.

Kennedy is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
