Meet sweet little Kiwi. Kiwi is a wonderful little eskie boy who had a very rough start. He was removed from his home by animal control when they saw the neglect for his care and the living conditions. He had a dental at the shelter and lost 24 teeth (he has 14 teeth left).
Kiwi has been in our care since October 18th and is flourishing with love and proper nutrition, daily walks and play time. He has been completely vetted and he is in good health, considering, with only one elevated liver enzyme (ALT). Kiwi is taking daily denamarin, a liver supplement, and his liver values will be rechecked.
Kiwi will need to be given time to warm up to strangers, and we do not recommend young children in his new home. He has a lot of love to give and will make a wonderful additon to a caring family.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.
There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
