Meet Little Boy! This sweet 4-year-old, 15 lb pup has been through a lot but hasn't lost his loving spirit. He came to us after being hit by a car and left at a shelter with a broken leg. Now fully healed and feeling great, he's ready to find his forever home!

Little Boy is affectionate, playful, and a big fan of both people and other dogs he's properly introduced to. He clearly knew love before and is extremely affectionate with humans. He knows how to use a doggy door trained and he also understands basic commands like "lie down" and even picks up on phrases like "time to go to bed"—he's smart like that!

Like many rescues, he's still working on a few things. He can be a bit of a food thief if snacks are left within reach and is working on his manners when on a leash when meeting new dog friends. However, with consistency and setting clear expectations, he's happy to play and gets along well with confident, dog-savvy companions. With time, he will make a great dog sibling (like in his current foster home)

Little Boy would do best in a secure home (he can be a bit of a Houdini!) so a home without a yard or if you have a yard, minimum 5ft fence. He may try to slip past you at the door and is quite skilled at wiggling out of a harness, so a slip lead setup and vigilance during transitions will be key.

In return, he promises loyalty, entertainment, and lots of love. Apply to meet Little boy at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html
