Meet Lucy – A Gentle 14-Year-Old Basset Hound–Terrier Mix Looking for Love Bonded Pair with Ricky
Lucy is a shy, timid and sweet senior girl who recently came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue after her 93-year-old mom entered hospice care. She and her brother, Ricky, have spent their entire lives together . We promised their mom we'd make sure they are safe, comfortable, and cared for — and we intend to keep that promise. ❤️
Lucy is the quieter of the pair. She's gentle, calm, and enjoys spending her days lounging in soft blankets or quietly following her foster mom around the house. Life has recently changed a lot for her, and she's still learning to trust and feel secure again. With patience, kindness, and love, Lucy's sweet personality continues to blossom a little more every day.

Ricky, true to his namesake, is full of life and charm — friendly, outgoing, and always ready for a cuddle.
