🐾 Meet Macy — A Sweet, Shy Soul Ready to Bloom 🐾
Macy is a young gal estimated around a year old. This Terrier mix has the gentlest eyes and softest heart. She's adorable, playful, and full of potential — she just needs a patient, understanding person and a dog friend to help her blossom.
Macy really must have another playful dog in her home. She takes comfort and confidence from other dogs and loves to play, snuggle, and follow their lead as she learns how to be brave.
After two weeks in the shelter, Macy was very timid and shy, totally shut down. With love and time, she's now wagging her tail, slowly enjoying cuddles a bit with people who slowly have earned her trust, and is even starting to enjoy leash walks. She's still socially awkward and nervous with new people — and will definitely be a bit of a project — but the kind of project that's worth every ounce of patience. Once she trusts you, her sweet, loyal heart shines through.

• 1 year old, ~15 lbs
• Dachshund / Terrier mix (possibly Yorkie or Aussie Terrier)
• Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped
•Doing well with crate and potty training but expected a learning curve as everything is so new to her she needs a special understanding family.
• Dog-friendly (must have another friendly dog)
• Best suited for a calm, patient home with older gentle kids 10+
