About Marge Simpson + Morty

Marge Simpson, aptly named for her funny little meow, is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. Marge is very much her own person, and likes to adheres to her own whims. She absolutely loves pets, and will make her scratchy little meow at you to request them. Marge is always the mama of any crew of cats. She's a calm, centering presence who gets along with all cats and often takes care of them. She keeps a watchful eye on all of the hustle and bustle of a household, but typically doesn't join in. Her bun skills are beyond epic, and she will survey her kingdom in the tightest bun possible. There's nothing Marge loves more than a good cat basket to sleep in. Windows and window shelves are also a favorite pastime of this sweet angel. A calm and cool companion is really what Marge is. She would do great in a home with other kitties. Marge also gets along well with dogs, but does not want large, excited dogs running around her space. This girl would do great with kids too, but would do best with kiddos who can respect her solid boundaries and understand that she is her own person.

Morty is a 100% certified goob. He's a 10/10, a perfect creature, a comedian, and just an all around weirdo little guy. Morty will keep you entertained constantly. There's no way to describe the way he scurries about when he's excited and exploring, but trust us when we say you've never seen anything like it. The same goes for the way Morty cuddles. A description in text cannot do it justice. Epic and ridiculous are the only words to describe it that even come close. He is a true baby, and loves to cuddle as hard as possible with his head either buried in your arms, or with his gaze locked on you adoringly. There may be some drool associated with a very happy Morty, but we think it's worth it for the epic cuddles. Morty is absolutely perfect with other cats and dogs. He needs no time at all to be comfortable around new friends, and really just lets them come to him on their own time. Morty would do amazing in a home with lots of places to explore and roam, and plenty of good cuddle spots. He is great with dogs, but definitely doesn't want to ge chased by an energetic dog. He would do great with kiddos and is all around the perfect guy.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!

Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/

Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
