MEET MERLIN...A Gentle Soul Ready for a New Beginning

Merlin's story began with heartbreak....abused and abandoned by the very people who were supposed to love him. He ended up in a stressful shelter, confused and afraid. But now, this sweet boy is safe, healing, and looking for the second chance he so deeply deserves.

Merlin is a 2-year-old, 14 pound small-breed mix, likely a Terrier with a dash of Miniature Greyhound with long, elegant legs and a graceful little frame. He has been neutered, dog door trained, and has the most calming presence. Quiet and gentle, Merlin comes up to say hello and then melts into the affection that you offer.

This little boy is loving, sweet, and happiest curled up on your lap, soaking in pets, hugs, and quiet time. Though he gets along well with other dogs, his heart belongs to people and he prefers to be close to his human family. Just a bit shy at first, but once he trusts you, his gentle, inquisitive nature shines through.

Merlin is looking for a calm, patient home where he can continue to blossom and feel safe. In return, he will give you quiet companionship, unconditional love, and a reminder of how powerful kindness can be.
