Name: Petra Best Guess for Breed: Yorkie/Terrier
Best Guess for Age: 8 yrs as of Nov 2025 SEX: female
Approximate Weight: 14 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: Lucky Dog's South Carolina rescue campus. She needs a foster or adopter to secure her freedom ride to the DC area.
Petra is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet older girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. She may be a Golden Girl, but her sniffer is strong and she's got pep in her step - she's eager for sniffy walks and world exploration with her humans! A cushy dog bed, quality kibble, and lots of snuggles round out her wish list.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
