About Plushie

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.

* If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.




This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, November 29th from 12-3pm unless adopted prior to the event. To be considered for adoption, pls submit an application in advance.

If you've ever wanted your very own plush toy to come to life, complete with wiggles, snorts, and comedic timing that would put a stand-up comic to shame, well, meet Plushie.



Plushie is the definition of Frenchie fabulous: she's squishy, sassy, affectionate, and completely unaware that she's about half the size of her personality. She's the friend who steals the spotlight in every photo, the coworker who distracts everyone at Zoom meetings (don't worry, she works for belly rubs), and the ultimate cuddle enthusiast.



Personality & Lifestyle

Plushie is a happy, social butterfly who thinks every human and dog exists to adore her and honestly, she's not wrong. She loves hanging with her dog friends, doing little zoomies, and then collapsing dramatically in the middle of the room like she just completed a marathon (don't tell her it was a 15-foot dash).



She's got the classic Frenchie charm with equal parts silly, stubborn, and sweet. Plushie's not a big barker, but she is a big talker: her snorts, grunts, and squeaky sighs could easily qualify as their own language. She loves her walks, she loves her naps, and she really loves being the center of your world.



Home Life

At home, Plushie's got her routine down. She's housebroken, polite, and enjoys lounging near her people which ideally is within arm's reach for emergency petting. She's been living with other dogs and gets along beautifully.
