About PuttPutt

Please contact Kristin (cats@arrcolorado.org) for more information about this pet.

PuttPutt is a gorgeous girlie (around 5 months old) who is a bit on the shy side but oh so sweet. She will take a few weeks to settle into your home, but your patience will be rewarded with loud purrs, soft nuzzles, and a cute personality. PuttPutt needs to go to a home where she has another confident cat to show her the ropes. (Or, she loves her foster brother Daly and would love to be adopted with him if you don't have a cat of your own.)

PuttPutt will likely be fine with dogs with a proper introduction, and calm, cat-savvy children should be okay.

****PuttPutt MUST start off in a small space like a bathroom, spare room, or playpen where she doesn't have anywhere to hide. This will allow you to build trust with her before letting her explore your entire house. She enjoys squeeze treats, play time, and petting.

Please describe in your application the space you will provide for PuttPutt to help her transition. You can put this in the question at the bottom of the app that says "Is there anything else you would like to share with us about yourself or your home." Applications without this information will not be considered.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

$300 for purebred/highly requested kittens, 6 months or younger, such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coon mixes. These "guardian kittens" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for purebred/highly requested cats older than 6 months such as Siamese mixes, Maine Coone mixes. These "guardian cats" help support our rescue work by covering vet costs for other kittens. $200 for kittens (6 months & under) $125 for cats (older than 6 months) $75 for senior cats (8 years or older) If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application here . We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process!

Please email cats@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can not accept calls at this time.

PLEASE NOTE: The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter. Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets. Here is some interesting info on breed identification: https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/

Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
