RAINE NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Raine Best Guess for Breed: Sheltie mix

Best Guess for Age: 10 months as of November 2025 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 16 lbs as of 11/21/25 - might have a bit more to grow

Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!

Raine is Looking For: Her forever home! This pretty girl is not long out of puppyhood and she has so much to see and do. She wants to do it all by the side of her humans. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, and all the adventures they can dream up - yes, please! And quality kibble and a cushy dog bed and dog school so she can show how super smart she is. But most of all she wants to know she's safe and loved, where she belongs, for all her days. In exchange she promises so much love and loyalty.

What do you say? Can you see her by your side?

What My Foster Says About Me: We will update this once she has spent time in foster care.
