Meet Ranger!

This 3-year-old, 18lb cuddle bug is all about belly rubs, snacks, and being glued to your side. He's crate trained, walks like a dream, and sleeps through the night without a peep.

Ranger's sweet, eager to please, and settling into home life like a pro. He's got that perfect mix of playful and chill—and he'll follow you around like it's his full-time job.

This happy guy was surrendered to a rural shelter through no fault of his own and is soaking up all the love in foster care while he waits for his forever home. Ranger has been friendly with everyone he's met and does well with other dogs when introduced properly. He loves attention and is sure to be close to the ones he loves.

Ranger is super smart and very food motivated, making training a blast for him and for his humans.

If you're looking for a dog with spunk, heart, and a whole lot of tail wags, Ranger might be your guy.



This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)

Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.



Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.
