Meet River ! Your Big Fluffy Gentle Giant! River is a 1.5-year-young, 112 pound male Great Pyrenees with a heart as soft as his beautiful white coat. This sweet boy adores people, kids, and other dogs, and would thrive in a home that understands and loves the wonderful quirks of a big, fluffy guardian breed. River is hoping for a home with space to roam, explore, and sunbathe, his absolute favorite pastime. He'd also be thrilled to have a dog companion his size to play and ruffle with, though it's not required. He's leash trained, potty trained, and kennel trained, and he already knows sit and has great recall. River is affectionate, social, and always ready for pets, cuddles, or simply lounging near his people. River would be a perfect match for an owner or family with large-breed experience who's ready for a loyal, loving, playful giant. If you're looking for a gentle companion with a goofy, loving spirit, River is your boy. He is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.
All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog. Fees help Second Chance Dog Rescue cover spay/neuter costs, vaccinations, medical treatments, food and supplies. Please go to www.secondchancedogrescue.org and complete an application today! All dogs live in private foster homes until they are adopted.
