About Rosie

Meeting Rosie, the most lovable, goofy Great Pyrenees mix (born approx 10/4/21) you'll ever meet. She's quite shy but it doesn't take her long to warm up to you. This is pretty normal for her breed.

One of the cutest things Rosie does is when she's happy to see you, she flips her body onto the ground for belly rubs. In fact, belly rubs might be her favorite thing in the whole world.

Rosie gets along with dogs, cats and kids, though if she is going to have doggy sibling, she'd prefer one that's not super energetic. Rosie is more of a "lay around the yard & maybe play chase once a day" kind of dog. She would be fine as an only dog as well.

She is crate trained and potty trained, and at least for now, has been quite quiet in her foster home. Be aware that Pyrenees as a breed do tend to be quite loud, especially on their own properties, so it is possible she will get comfortable in her new home and start to bark / alert more often.

Going for walks is a bit anxiety-inducing for Rosie at the moment, so taking things slow will be important in her new home.

If you are patient and have an incredible amount of love to give, consider giving Rosie your heart. You won't regret it.
