Special hero needed: Meet Sassy!
Sassy is a lovely 5-year-old Abyssinian mix with beautiful expressive eyes. She came to the shelter through no fault of her own and immediately made it quite clear that the unfamiliar faces and scary sounds are not for her. She is not shy about expressing her feelings about it all and lives up to her name. When approached, she may greet you with a tense stance, growl, or swat. But she will happily gobble up any treats that come her way and if in the mood, accept gentle pets.
Sassy needs a very cat experienced adopter that understands that the best relationships take time, patience, and trust to build. She requires a quiet, calm home with no children and no other pets.
