Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Snow is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie has enjoyed living in a shelter foster home with her foster puppy buddies Babs and Gena but they're all ready to move on and get their own forever homes! Snow wants one where she gets to go on sniffy walks and adventures with her own humans, make pup pals along the way - and start and end every day with lots of love and snuggles and belly scratches! Going to dog school would be great, too, so she can show how super smart she is.

Most of all - she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days.

What My Foster Says About Me: Because I'm a terrier, and a JRT to boot, AND a puppy, I have Energy with a capital E! When I wake up around 6:30 a.m., I am READY for the day! I take a potty break and eat my breakfast, and then it's time to play! I love playing with all kinds of toys, the squishy and squeakier the better. I also try very hard to play with my foster mom's senior dog, but he's not too interested, so I play with my foster mom instead. We go out in the backyard and after I've checked for squirrels and birds and rabbits (I saw one and that was fun!), she throws toys for me to chase. Sometimes I bring them back to her and then she gives me a treat. She taught me to sit for treats and now I sit even before she asks me to because I'm just that smart! After playtime, we take a long walk through the neighborhood, which is full of all kinds of wonderful sniffs. I like to bark at all the people and dogs I see, not because I'm mean, but just because I'm excited to say hello. I also bark at my reflection in windows! Sometimes my mom leaves the house and puts me in a big crate because I'm not quite house trained. I don't mind the crate and use the opportunity to take a nap so I'll be ready to play again when she comes home! When I'm finished playing, I often settle down in my foster mom's lap for pets, which I also really like. After dinner we take another long walk, and then I'm ready for some couch play time. About 8 o'clock, my eyes start to get droopy, and by ten, my foster mom puts me in a smaller crate with a treat and I go to sleep for the night so I'll be ready to play again tomorrow! Whatdya say? If you like to play as much as I do, could I be the pup you're looking for?

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
