Due to NO fault of his own he is available. Adopters other dog began attacking him and for his own safety he was brought back. Say hello to Targus, a one-of-a-kinnd pup with a heart as big as his personality. This amazing boy is full of quiet charm and playful curiosity — truly an old soul in a young, energetic body. Targus is gentle, polite, and well-mannered. He greets you with a calm sit and a sweet offer of his paw, and if you offer him a treat he doesn't care for, he'll politely nudge it away like a true gentleman. He's a cuddle bug who loves curling up next to you but also enjoys keeping himself entertained or exploring the world around him. He's happiest being near his family— whether that's learning new commands, going for walks, joining in on daily activities or just laying in his bed chewing his favorite bone. Targus thrives on clear routines, gentle guidance, and plenty of love. He's eager to please, sensitive to correction, and always wants to be part of the action. He needs a home with a yard, would flourish in either a calm or active home where he can continue to grow, learn, and share his loving energy. Whether you're looking for a walking buddy, hiking partner, or loyal snuggle companion, then he is ready for you. He will require a home with a yard and preferably another fur sibling to play with. Targus knows basic commands such as come, sit, down, shake, stay, off, leave It, fetch, currently working on heel and spin. He is crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, great with kids, cats and all dogs. He has had a vet visit, is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated - DHPP x 4 (fully vaccinated), Rabies, & Bordetella x 2, had a 4 DX test (testing for Heartworm, Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), two dewormings, and 2 fecal test. Adopters will receive all original paperwork, a 14-day health guarantee, a collar, harness, leash, seatbelt lock, and a week's worth of food. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis and are by appointment only. We are located in Mesa near Gilbert/Brown & offer flexible hours for meet-and-greet appointments.
