About Tova
Animal Profile: Tova's story started with a rough beginning. She was found in active labor, sadly having already lost her puppy. She was brought to a local shelter, where veterinarians confirmed she had no more puppies and spayed her so she would never have to have another litter.
Luckily, our amazing friends at ARF noticed her right away and reached out for help. Thanks to their quick action, Tova is now safe and recovering from surgery in a loving foster home in California. Once she's fully healed, she'll be making her way up to Seattle to find her forever family!
Tova is estimated to be 2 years old and weighs 20 pounds. In foster care, she's been nothing short of a delight. She is sweet, gentle, and absolutely devoted to being a lap dog. She's soaking up all the love she can get and giving plenty in return. We can't wait to help Tova find her happily ever after.
Foster Update: Tova absolutely loves people and wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap or fall asleep next to you on the couch. She's friendly, outgoing, and happiest when she's close to her humans.
She walks nicely on leash and prefers leisurely strolls since her little legs and typical Frenchie build mean she is not built for long hikes. Like many French Bulldogs, her joints could use a little extra support, and she would benefit from a daily joint supplement to help keep her comfortable.
Tova is not fully potty trained yet, but we're working on it and she's making progress.
She adores her people but would prefer to be the only dog in the home, since other dogs are not really her thing.
