About Zeke
Meet Zeke – The Best Boy Ever, Ready for His Furever Home!
Zeke is a 1½-year-old, 23 lb. Boston/Frenchie(?) mix with a heart as big as his smile! This brave little guy came to us after being rescued from an abuse situation that left him with a badly fractured leg. Thankfully, Zeke was confiscated from his abuser and received orthopedic surgery to repair the injury. Now fully healed and thriving, Zeke is ready to start the happy new chapter he so deserves.
Okay, we'll admit it — Zeke isn't a purebred Boston Terrier. But when the shelter called asking for help, we didn't hesitate for a second. We've even sent off his DNA test (because everyone's dying to know!), and guesses so far include Boston, Frenchie, Dachshund, Chihuahua, GSD, and maybe a little Pug — that fabulous tail is a clue! Stay tuned for the big reveal.
Zeke has been the perfect house guest in his foster home. He mastered the doggie door in no time, does his business like a gentleman, and tucks himself into his crate at bedtime without a fuss. On walks, he's a total pro — though he might pull a little just to greet new friends.
Zeke LOVES other dogs and is hoping for a home with a young, playful pup to match his energy. His favorite game is chase — both running after and being chased — and his zoomies are legendary! Picture an aerodynamic blur zipping across the grass (or the living room during TV time).
When he's not zooming, Zeke's an affectionate snuggle bug who'll happily curl up beside you — or on your shoulders — for belly rubs and cuddles. He's also perfectly happy chewing on a bully stick while you get some work done. He's learning commands, food-motivated, eager to please, and always ready for new adventures. Zeke is the kind of dog who can go anywhere and make friends everywhere.
Zeke is healthy, fully vaccinated, neutered (check out his green tattoo!), and microchipped. He's currently fostered in Southern California.
This goofy, happy, resilient boy is pure joy wrapped in fur.
